DBW AFT processed the industry leading powertex®, a textile like ECR Glass Fiber with the extremely high temperature resistance, for powertex LE mats.
Using a patented manufacturing process powertex® fibers without any binding agents or other organic matter are made in many and various shapes and sizes.
By eliminating organic binders we contributed substantially to reduce emissions (of exhaust systems).
The unique “Effect Texturization“ of the powertex® fiber filaments allows for a weight reduction of up to 20% compared to other more common solutions.
